Ranting of the day

How expensive or complicated an apparatus are these MRI or CT scan machines, bone scanners etc   that the government cannot make them readily available in as many hospitals or health centers as possible in Nigeria?

From my observation of healthcare in Nigeria the challenge is largely in getting the right diagnosis more than getting the right treatment. Too many people dying from wrong diagnosis or while awaiting the right diagnosis because the equipment is either damaged, non-existent or in only one hospital in the whole country…Its sad to see the way something as fundamental to a nation as the health system has been so terribly compromised in Nigeria.

No I wont continue on this, I started this blog to get people’s minds away from their troubles for no matter how little time they can escape so let me not remind you of such things here.
