See the shoes in the picture
above, they are on the feet of a Nigerian girl in a Nigerian organization on
Nigerian soil...as in Lagos....as in this shoe has reached Lagos!!!!
This shoes were seen on the
runway sometime late last year and then Lady Gaga wore it as part of her eye
rolling, attention seeking gear to one event or another.......at this point it
was not a threat because well for lack of a better way to put it, these people
are not necessarily “humans”.
However, when a garri swallowing, PHCN challenged and
all things worrying Nigeria- Nigerian babe alive and here in Lagos wears this shoe to
work on an ordinary sunny day....its not appraisal day, its not an interview
matter....just a regular day.... then I’m worried..... scratch that.... I’m panicking!
TOTALLY freaked out.
I haven’t finished rocking the
heels they said we should be rocking...I’m still struggling with leaving the
comfort and safety of my flats and wedges and they say I am behind times.....
Guys what if these shoes become the next big thing in fashion?...you know my fellow
women can decide this thing anytime....What if they just wake up and decide we
should just be half suspended in the air and walk like kangaroos on this
apparatus called a shoe...what if this shoe becomes this next big thing I ask
again this time pulling my hair frantically?
My sisters can do anything and I
wouldn’t put it past them.
Please I call upon all men at
this time...help a sister out...refuse it and reject it with me.
I call upon the Medical
association of Nigeria. Don’t let these shoes in
Nigerian Customs, Police, LASTMA,
KAI, religious organizations...yes RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS and LEADERS... (I
greet you sirs) Please help ask and advice your daughters....what shall it
profit a girl to wear this shoe and lose her spinal cord? Ask them let them
reflect and say NO to this mania about to hit town.
Do NOT ALLOW this Shoes in please
...or else i’m doomed!
Have I told you that all my heels are
in a museum and only come out for when I have events???
